Currently, I am Creative Director for the Internal Agency at The Cigna Group / Cigna Healthcare / Evernorth Health Services. In this role, I lead creative and large brand-led initiatives across the enterprise, including integrated campaigns, corporate events, annual reports, as well as the rebranding of Cigna and its subsidiaries. Prior to joining The Cigna Group, I was Senior Vice President / Group Creative Director at GroupeConnect, a unique agency within Publicis Groupe and Digitas created to provide innovative and creative solutions for the Bank of America and Merrill Lynch accounts. I led and managed a large team that creates engaging content and experiences across digital, social, and traditional media channels. Over the course of my 20+ year career, I’ve developed strong creative direction and management skills by building digital, print, broadcast, promotions, websites and integrated campaigns for well-known brands. 

During my tenure at Digitas/Publicis I was always up for taking on any new challenge, and continually gained more and more responsibility. Driving the design, pushing ideas, and developing smart solutions. When I started in advertising I was a go-to for traditional media, and I have evolved to be a leader in digital. My knowledge expands across the full integrated process, including the creation and production of digital, new technology, TV, long-form content, social, print, promotions, events, and websites.

PRIOR to current role

SVP Group Creative Director —
Bank of America, Merrill Lynch

  • As a member of the agency’s senior leadership team, managed a creative team of 30+ people for 100MM+ account 

  • Oversaw creative for many divisions and products under the Bank of America and Merrill Lynch brands

  • Responsible for the creative presentations and relationships with senior clients

  • Managed brand look and feel across majority of products and divisions

  • Created fully integrated programs, including digital video, TV, social, print, activations, content, and sites

  • Led Social team, driving the content across many channels including FB, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram 

  • Created the first VR content for Bank of America Merrill Lynch 

  • Created efficiencies in the creation of sites/landing pages at scale, while improving the UX  

  • Managed creation of assets across all of BofA.com 

  • Led redesign and experiences across USTrust.com and ML.com

VP Group Creative Director and VP Creative Director —
P&G (Tide, Downy, Gain, Duracell)

  • Key partner in launching and leading the first ever agile marketing team for P&G, and first at Digitas – featured across majority of trade publications

  • Managed and created social content daily across Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram for Tide, Downy, and Gain brands

  • Created long-form content, as well as content on small budget

  • Led traditional digital creative for the Duracell and Tide — flagship of all P&G brands 

  • Managed brand look and feel across multiple products/divisions

  • Led the complete redesign and UX for Tide.com and Duracell.com

 

Associate Creative Director and Senior Art Director —
General Motors (Buick, GMC, Pontiac)

  • Worked on branded entertainment team creating programs in partnership with properties such as Tiger Woods, Oprah, NBC/Apprentice, CBS/Survivor, Maxim, Jimmy Kimmel, NFL, PGA, NCAA and more 

  • 2005 & 2006 Cannes Promo Lions

  • Helped develop the very successful annual NCAA Pontiac Game Changing Performance program

  • Part of the team that created the famous Oprah Pontiac G6 giveaway

  • Led redesign of Buick.com and Pontiac.com

  • Worked on variety of new car launches

  • Promotional site experience for the Buick Regal awarded FWA of the day 

  • Created digital advertising, content, direct marketing, print and full integrated campaigns. 

  • Led and managed all creative for the Buick brand 

 

Senior Art DirectoR —
Delta, Best Buy, AT&T

  • Managed the work for SkyMiles loyalty program for Delta

  • Produced the annual Best Buy holiday “magalog” — including the organization and oversight of all photography

  • Created various digital and direct marketing — from concept through production

MY other side

 

I reside in the seaside town of Marshfield, Massachusetts — with my wife (Erin), daughter (Shea), and son (Finn). We spend a lot of our time as spectators and fans of our kid’s sports, whether it is hockey, soccer, or lacrosse. We take full advantage of our location, and spend many of our summer days at the local beach. I like to try to get out and golf when I can (even-though I never keep score). Skiing has always been a hobby of mine, however I find it harder and harder to get it in during the busy winter months. I also enjoy using my creativity and woodworking skills to concur many D.I.Y. projects at home.
